Idaho Tax Deed Auctions - (ID)
Written by: Kevin Zimmerman
The state of Idaho does not conduct any tax lien certificate sales. However, Idaho is considered to be a fair to decent state for tax deed sales. Individual counties are responsible for setting rules and guidelines regarding tax deed sales in Idaho.
An Overview of Idaho Tax Deed Sales
Since Idaho only conducts tax deed sales, there is no interest rate associated with interest rate. Some of the counties in Idaho have recently begun conducting tax deed sales online. There is a three year redemption period on Idaho tax deeds and the property is sold by the county if taxes remain unpaid after this time period.
Idaho Tax Sales Bidding Process
All tax sales held in Idaho are held via bidding processes which are determined by the individual counties. There is generally no set time to hold tax deed sales. Usually counties will decide to conduct tax deed sales when buyers have shown an interest.
